Spent the Deepavali weekend in KL, Balakong.
Who would have imagined tonnes of fireworks blasting all over the neighbourhood to greet the break of Diwali?!!! Yeah...yeah....the 'sua-ku' Singaporean in me was almost blown away! But what a sleepless experience...heheee!
Hey.....the 15min MINES river cruise turned out quite pleasant. If i had more time, I'll go for the longer cruise too. VERY man-made....Neat though!

So good to hear a word from a familiar part of my world and my past life! Sounds like fun. We miss the color and celebration of life in Asia. Off to Africa this Saturday - can't wait. Heather
