About a year before I got the car, I asked DAD to show me the purpose of getting one. I counted the cost and knew that it didn't make alot of sense to own one....parking, fuel, maintenance, road tax, insurance etc
Then I heard....or least i think I heard "YOU SHALL DRIVE INTO MALAYSIA"........whoa!!!!
Well....I crossed the border on Good Friday for the 1st time!!! With jam and all!!!
As I drove out of my carpark heading towards Woodlands checkpoint.....the verse came to me...Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of GOD. Well, DAD empowered me throughout the entire journey to JB and home....safely!!
Was driving in the jam for perhaps a total of 4hrs throughout. Reached Woodlands and joined the line around 10am. Cleared JB customs at about 12pm! Thankfully, it wasn't raining. Had to do clutch control, handbraking up the slopes. Most of the time, I didn't even get pass gear 1.
Had an incredible navigator beside me and guided me with directions and exactly which lane to take and when to filter out so that other cars have no choice but to give way to me...hahaha! I even drove on the opposite side of the road near JB Jusco...talk about lawlessness!!!
It was an amazing feat.....an adventure with the H.S......but I was totally wiped out when i got home at 9.30pm. No jam at all on my way back....woohooo! What a relief.
What is impossible with man is possible with God....living by HIS WORD!
